Melanie & Storm

Melanie & Storm // Linden Place // August 17, 2019

Fairfield University will forever hold a very special place in Melanie and Storms life, this isn’t just where they went to college and made lifelong friends, this is where their love story began.  Fast forward about 5 years and we are celebrating their beautiful wedding at Linden Place. Bristol, Rhode Island was the perfect setting for Melanie and Storm to say “I do”.

Getting to know Mel and Storm throughout the planning process was such a pleasure! From the very beginning Storm was involved with every detail (I love a groom who wants to genuinely be involved!!) and he always had the best and most thoughtful ideas for his bride – to – be (see photos below). Mel is the sweetest human and always has a smile on her face! She knew exactly what she wanted and was super organized (if you know me, you know I love anyone who is type A like me!!). I got to know their family and best friends on wedding day (the nicest people EVER). Every single person I spoke with had nothing but positive things to say about this incredible couple. Mel and Storm would move mountains for their loved ones. Their love for each other shines so bright and I have no doubt that they will keep each other laughing and smiling forever and ever.

The morning started out with the sweetest notes and gifts. These moments were filled with happy tears, a personalized necklace and a photo album.

A few weeks before the wedding Storm came to me and asked for my help with balloons for wedding morning, he wanted wedding morning to be fun and extra special for Melanie.  So naturally I showed up with a car full of balloons for the bride – to – be and she was totally surprised! How sweet was this! The girls had a blast throwing around balloons and flower petals.

Getting ready for the first look with the help of their maid of honor and best man.

An emotional first look! Yup, I cried too!!! This moment was very sweet.

Guests were greeted with fresh lemonade and cucumber water.  Zoey and Rico (their pups) made their debut! Keep scrolling and you will see a whole section dedicated to their fur babies! Every time I send a bride down the aisle I get chills! That moment will never get old.

Mr. & Mrs. Miller

Mel & Storms stunning bridal party! Black will never go out of style, very classy.

The cutest flower girl and ring bearer, Zoey and Rico! Zoey wore a pretty flower collar and Rico looked dashing in his black tuxedo.

For their first dance they danced to “you are the reason”. Storm twirled and dipped Mel while their guests cheered with tears in their eyes.

Two very heartwarming speeches by Eileen (maid of honor) and Sloan (best man). Listening to those speeches I was able to learn a lot more about Mel and Storm and their love story.

Everyone danced the night away!! Seriously, every single person at this wedding was on the dance floor until the very end. They were such a fun group!

The new Mr. & Mrs. Miller were sent off to their after party with sparklers! Such a beautiful way to end a beautiful day.

Details and personal touches. I loved the map of where they met, where he proposed and where they said “I do”.
